From the Dapper Dans serenading Disney World park attendees to Jimmy Fallon’s Ragtime Gals juxtaposing off-color pop songs with the squeaky-clean image of the barbershop quartet, the notion of the barbershop singers certainly is iconic. A little over a week ago in Knoxville, TN, we competed in the Southeastern Harmony District annual chorus championship. We are proud to say that with our highest district contest score ever, AVP won the contest to be named 2026 district champions. Our 86.8% was also our highest official score in any contest since International 2009.

Does this look like fun? Come visit a rehearsal anytime and join the harmony! We rehearse each Thursday at 7 PM at St John Church in north Atlanta, and guests are always welcome. We've got some awesome plans lined up for the rest of 2024, including several major shows, the GA Veterans Day Parade, US Naturalization Ceremonies, district convention, and more. We want to sing with you!
AVP + Heralds wins 2nd place in the world!
At the recent BHS International chorus contest, the combined chorus of Heralds of Harmony and Atlanta Vocal Project put on a fantastic performance that took home the 2nd place silver medal! It took many months of preparation, hard work, and support from many of our friends and family. Thank you for helping make this possible!
